One of the Legendry songs of times…

This Sunday I watched a classic black&white movie "Johar In Kashmir". I never saw this movie before. I was just attracted by this movie's theme which is very related/based to current problems happening in Kashmir’s valley. I think this movie contains very good contents of actual problems of valley that time as well as current time also. It shows how some valley people who live in area which is Pakistan occupied Kashmir. They are supplied weapons and come to India in disguise and started violence and terrorism. The subject which is still current. Anyway, I am not here to describe political area or going to give a speech on this, I am only here to talk with you about one of the beautiful song I watched in this movie.

"Be-gunahoon ka lahoo hai ye rang laayega..."

The platform of this song is very new for me (And if I am not mistaken I never saw this type of plot of the song before in any movie). Here our Hero (I.S. Johar), who works for Indian Army in Kashmir (Home Guard), comes to Pakistan (The Kashmir area which is occupied by Pakistan). He comes here in the disguise of a Darvesh (Islamic Holy Man). And in the middle of Pakistani people, he starts this beautiful song to make them understand that "Terrorism is not a good thing. It’s very very bad; you will not get anything from this. Killing people is very very big crime, He (Allah) watching all your deeds and you will be punished one day. This is not good to fight with your neighbor. Religion never says to kill anybody; Religion is for peace and love. So, keep piece, increase love, be a good man, be a real Human."

The magical and very meaningful lines from the song:-

Nahi kaafi hai musalmaan hona,
Bas nahi hafiz-e-Quraan hona,
Allah-t-aala ka pyaar pane ko,
Laazmi hai tera insaan hona,
Amal to sath tere ho lega,
Khoon to sar pe chhad ke bolega,
Khuda mazhab hi na dekhega tera,
Teri insaaniyat bhi toolega,
Pyaar par rakhi hai buniyaad har ek mazhab ki,
Koi talwar pe rakhega to kya payega

One last thing i really want to mention is about I.S. Johar. He is a very different kind of person and only one of his type. It is amazing that he is the Producer, Director, Writer and Actor in this movie, really versatile personality :)

Hope you will enjoy this song.

Some Charismatic Characters, I Like, Played By Dharmendra

Last night I was thinking to watch some reality show on any TV channel and was just switching the channels. Suddenly, on a TV channel I saw one of my favorite movie 'DOST'. I have seen this before many times and just thinking to see some 10-15 minutes more, but the magic of movie is that I forgot to switch the channel and lost in the power and beauty of the movie and of course the main lead played by Dharmendra, what a character he has played in this movie named "Manav".

Yes, I just wanted to share with you friends that why I like Dharmendra so much, basically it is not dharmendra, it is the Charismatic Characters played by him in some movies which are not forgettable and big life long. I am sharing with you people such unforgettable characters with memorable movies.

1. Satyakaam: - I will not say much about this character because I have already written full blog post on this character. Here is the link to read more about this character.

http://dilkinazarsewithaslam.blogspot.com/2009/08/satyakam-my-idol.html

2. Dost: - The character in this movie played by Dharmendra is "Manav". A very very truthful person who believes in Humanity. He believes in right way with good deeds and with truth. He is against with any sin in this world. He loves poor people and wants rich people to help them. He does not care his life if the matter is for truth. Many people, like his friend, in this movie (Gopi) inspired by him and changed their bad life. I can never forget his small room where all religious books, all great historic characters available and when some body says what is his religion then Manav says "Humanity". I can also not forget a very beautiful Taigore Tune on Mouth organ played by him. Really such a nice movie. Some beautiful lines from a song of this movie...

Khoobsoorat hai jo dushman se bhi, dosto dost hai dushman se bhi

Pyaar kiya jaata hai...

Dil pe sahkar sitam ke teer bhi, Pahan kar paun me zanzeer bhi,

Raks kiya jaata hai...

Aa bata den ke tujhe kese jiya jaata hai...

3. Naya Zamana: - The character in this movie named "Anoop”, he is a struggling writer in this movie. He is very poor but a very good, deep thinker and intellectual writer. He writes speeches for rich people. He earns very hardly. His only wish and ambition is to get published his book "Naya Zamana", which is based on new India, new life for poor people, all Rich and all Poor will be on same stage. But as he is very poor that’s why nobody help him to get published his book. But one day one Bad Rich person (Pran) somehow gets his book and publishes the book with the name of himself. This is very touchy scene in movie. The movie shows this struggle between rich and poor and ends with very beautiful lines by Lata, I always remember:-

Zindagi pe sabka ek sa hak hai, Sab tasleem karenge,

Sari khushiyan, sare dard barabar, hum takseem karenge,

Naya Zamana Aayega, Naya Zamana Aayega...

And many many other scenes and things from movies which is not possible to describe all here. But I found myself very close and near to (wanted to be like those) those Characters described above. I love these, I love to be like them. That's why i like those characters, movies and of course Dharmendra.

Some People Make Impact Beyond Their Time

Last night i was just free and looking into my old vedios and movie cuttings storage on my laptop. There i noticed some clips which i stored long time ago. These was from a very great movie of all time and one of my best movies ever, A beautiful and greatest classic from Gurudutt, yes it is "Kaagaz Ke Phool". Let me first describe you what i saw in the clips and how i felt.

First i played clip which has starting song from the movie. It has very beautiful lyrics.

"Dekhi zamane ki yaari,
Bichde sabhi bari bari"

Gurudutt(Who was the director/producer and actor in the movie - 1959), is sitting in old studio, he is now old and not well. He is looking the movie studio where he was very famous long time before. He get lost in old memories with the song in background.
In his old and golden days, he was one of the TOP Director of film industry. People are running after him, producers, fans, actor, actress, every body is looking for him. And he is on top of the world. The lines comes from song now;-

"Waqt hai meharbaan, Aarzoo hai zawaan,
Kal ki fikar kareen kyon, itni fursat kahaan"

Wow! what a great lines.

Then i played another clip from the movie, strange this is the last clip from the movie. Vahida Rahmaan (who is actress in this movie), is now Top Actress in the film industry. Gurudutt, when he was on Top, found her. And made her a big star. And because of some circumstances (which u will find after watching movie), Gurudutt is now no more in film industry, people already forgot him. He is now become damm poor, he has nothing, no stardom, no money, nothing. He is hardly trying to find some work in any movie to get some money. So, the clip is like this. Suddenly Vahida saw the Gurudutt in a beggar attire. Gurudutt also saw her. But he does not want any sympathy from her, so he runs away. He is running, vahida (who loved her once upon a time and also gurudutt was his god father) also running behind him to catch him. A beautiful lyrics with song in background. Both are running. After sometime, he crosses a gate where so many people are there who know Vahida as Super Actress. People stop her for autograph. She is tring to get out from crowd but not succeeded. Gurudutt who is safely reach some far from her, watching her in crowd. Some beautiful lines comes:-

"Ek hath se deti hai duniya
so hatho se le leti hai,

ye khel hai kabse jaari,

bichde sabhi baari baari"

Ahh! very very touchy and emotional lines and the scene. Now flashback ends and scene returns from where movie starts, the studio. Gurudutt slowly gets down from stairs and sit on the Director seat. In Morning, studio people comes and wondering who is that old man. One old studio person comes forward, and recognized him. He comes near to Gurudutt. But, Gurudutt is Dead. Suddenly, new producer enters in the studio and shouted on everybody for wasting time and said that "Have you people not seen any dead body before?". Ohh! What a sad end of a person of a great life style. And clips ends to show the sky...

Yes, this is one and only Gurudutt, who can make this kind of heart touching and a movie which is beyond and far far away from his time. This is an impactful movie, very rare movies are there for this kind of impact. A many many variety of emotions and messages are in this movie. Like:

You are successful right now, you have wealth, people are around and after you, but one day all will go, people will forget you like you are nothing, your stardom will go. There is nothing in this world which is long lasting in terms of Popularity and Golden Periods. If you have right now, you enjoying it, you don't have fear for future, and one day that day will come when you will rare find person who is truly yours. You are alone, all alone.

If you are on Top right now, be careful, people will come to you with crowd, like they are well wishers to you. But when you have some failure in your life , they will forget you and not even help you.

The life is nothing but a beautiful dream. When this dream will over you will find yourself empty handed.

It is always a pain when you get your true love in life. People never let your love to meet you. They always have some excuse. Society always comes between your happiness and true love. But when you are very sad and in tragedy, society does not have any answers for you.

Any so many, overall, i see the movie is beyond its time and always seems me to very very true in all situation. A struggle of a person who is sucessful and his failures in life. Generally we saw in movies success of a person. But in this movie, it is shown that how circumstances, people, society makes a successful person to a failure. And moreover our hero here is very very self respective. He never compromise (i dont know , i always like this behaviour in my heros like satyakaam ), in the last scene when vahida recognize him and try to meet him, but our hero not wants to meet her. He just wanted to destroy himself, he lost everything in life, he does not need anything now. Can you imagine how a person feels when he is watching that people are praising and running after a person (vahida), who was nothing , only successful because of only him (gurudutt) , and people have forgot the actual person(Gurudutt - the creator of her). Not sure how our hero is feeling that time, but this is truth that he has lost everything in life- Stardom, Money, Family and True Love.

A must watching movie.

Happy Independence Day

Meri aawaaz suno, pyaar ke raaz suno
maine ek phool jo seene pe sajaa rakhaa tha
uske parade main tumhein dil se lagaa rakhha tha
tha judaa sabase mere ishq ka andaaz suno
Meri aawaaz suno..

Zindagi bhar mujhe nafarat si rahi ashkon se
mere khwaabon ko tum ashkon mein dubote kyon ho
jo meri tarah jiyaa karate hain kab marate hain
thak gayaa hoon mujhe so lene do rote kyon ho
so ke bhi jaagate hi rahate hain jaanbaaz suno
Meri aawaaz suno..

Meri duniya mein na poorab hai na pashchim koi
saare insaan simat aaye khulee baahon mein
kal bhatakataa tha main jin rahon main tanhaa tanhaa
kaafile kitane mile aaj unheen rahon main
aur sab nikale mere humadard mere humaraz suno
Meri aawaaz suno..

Naunihaal aate hain arathi ko kinaare kar lo
main jahaan tha inhein jaanaa hai vahaan se aage
aasamaan inakaa zameen inaee zamaanaa inakaa
hain kai inake jahaan mere jahaan se aage
inhein kaliyaan nA kaho hain ye chumanasaaz suno
Meri aawaaz suno..

Kyon sanvaree hai ye chandan ki chitaa mere liye
main koi jism nahin hoon ke jalaaoge mujhe
raakh ke saath bikhar jaaoongaa main duniya mein
tum jahaan khaaoge thokar vaheen paaoge mujhe
har kadam par hai nae mod ka aagaaz suno
Meri aawaaz sunopyaar ke raaz suno
maine ek phool jo seene pe sajaa rakhaa tha
uske parade main tumhein dil se lagaa rakhha tha
tha judaa sabase mere ishq ka andaaz suno
Meri aawaaz suno..

'Heroes' who made impact on my life

Swami Vivekananda

"Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced."

"Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin ? to say that you are weak, or others are weak."

--Swami Vikekanand

He is a Youth Icon. He was one of the main Ideal Leader for young generation. I always get inspired by his deeds, works, activities and great social works.

Last Saturday With Graveyard

Hi All,
Sorry i not fulfilled my promise of blogging regularly. So today i found time to meet you. Today is saturday thats why i named the title of this blog 'Last Saturday' :) (Very funny).

Its not funny my friends, actually this saturday i visited my firnd's home. It is very cool and lovely place. Everywhere silence and full natural place. Actually there is a big Graveyard around his house thats why you can say it is very peaceful place.

Graveyard, a place where eveybody has to go one day. Its always a peaceful place. There is a mosque in the middle of the graveyard. It was around 5 PM. I heard the 'Azaan' and decided to go for 'Namaaz' with my friend. For reaching mosque one has to pass from the graveyard there. So we both were going through between graveyard.

I saw that a devine peace was spreaded all over there. All graves are silence and it seems like saying "Hey man, don't worry, once apon a time, we were also walking like you!!!"

Yes, it is true. One day all people have to come here. This is a "Beautiful Place" where no rush, no job tension, no politics, no money problem. Only and only your deeds which you have done so far in your life. I wanted to sit there for hours and hours with my deep thoughts. Actually graveyard impact is not new in my life. It is from my childhood. In my childhood , our home was also in a Graveyard which was on a small hill. Very very beautiful place, i can say my best place in my life. It was a very big graveyard with beautiful natural place. There were not many houses around. Only one or two. Also i had no one to play most of the time. So i generally used to play and walk here and there alone with my lonelyness. I used to feel that ALLAH (GOD) is always with me. Most of the ideas of my life, my ideology, my thinking, my dreams, my habbits developed in that beautiful phase. I miss those days....

Anyway, I think i lost somewhere talking to you. Ok, I wanted to tell you only that this is truth. One day all have to go this place then why a person do such stupid things in life like lying, ditching, too much professionalism, running after money, not fulfilling duties, not caring others, making fun of others and all and all. Every body should do good work, should be a good human. Dont lie, dont be anger, care each other, behave like brothers each other, love and respect each other. Always remember in fron of HIM no one is big. All are same.

"There is no BIG or SMALL in this world. All are same and All have to come here"
--Graveyard
